Live At The Apollo

Live at the Apollo (formerly titled Jack Dee Live at the Apollo) is a British stand-up comedy programme performed from the Hammersmith Apollo Theatre in west London.

Jack Dee hosted the first two series, performing a short segment before introducing a guest comedian.

To date there have been two series of the show, both airing on Mondays at 10.35 p.m. on BBC One.

A third series was filmed on the evenings of 2-4 October, 2007.

Dee will no longer host; the duty will fall to a guest presenter.

At the end of his shows, Dee used a mobile phone to receive text messages from audience members, which would include comments and jokes. He would then read selected ones to the audience for his ending.

This tradition has thankfully been continued by other hosts.
